Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Medical Billing Virtual Assistant** to support a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) supply company. The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical billing, insurance claims, and patient support, along with excellent English communication skills and a clear American accent.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Handle medical billing, insurance claims, and payment follow-ups.
* Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
* Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and inquiries.
* Assist patients with orders, billing questions, and insurance-related concerns.
* Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
* Follow up on outstanding claims and payments.
* Provide professional and reliable customer service to patients and other relevant parties.
**Requirements:**
* Native-level English proficiency with a clear American accent.
* Previous medical billing experience; DME experience is highly preferred.
* Knowledge of medical insurance, eligibility verification, and claims processing.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
**Position Details:**
* **Work Setup:** Remote
* **Employment Type:** Full-Time
* **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time
* **Weekends:** Off
* **Pay:** $4-6 per hour depending on skills, experiences (overall fit for the role)
