Cynthia is looking for a Maître D' to be the first and last impression of our dining room — the person who sets the tone for every guest's evening from the moment they walk through the door.

What you'll do

• Warmly and confidently greet, seat, and manage the flow of guests across a full, reservation-driven dining room
• Own the floor plan and pacing in real time — balancing walk-ins, VIPs, and reservation timing against kitchen and service pace
• Build relationships with regulars and VIP guests, anticipating needs and personalizing the experience
• Manage the reservation system, waitlist, and phone/email guest communications
• Coordinate closely with the floor team, management, and kitchen to keep service running smoothly
• Uphold Cynthia's brand voice and hospitality standard in every guest interaction

What you bring

• Prior experience as a maître d', host, or reservationist in a fine dining or upscale environment; Michelin-recognized restaurant experience a strong plus
• Polished, warm, and unflappable under pressure — you set the tone even on the busiest nights
• Strong organizational instincts and comfort with reservation platforms (we use Resy)
• Sharp memory for faces, names, and guest preferences
• A genuine passion for hospitality and for making people feel taken care of
