Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Knoxville, TN

Perfection Group is hiring skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to serve Knoxville and the surrounding areas.

We're looking for dependable, experienced technicians who take pride in solving problems, communicating well with customers, and delivering safe, high-quality work. You'll service a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems while receiving the tools, training, and team support needed to continue developing your career.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumps
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues and identify effective solutions
• Obtain necessary replacement parts and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer recommendations
• Explain equipment conditions, recommended repairs, and next steps clearly to customers
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to support reliable, efficient system operation
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Knoxville service area
• Coordinate with dispatch and communicate schedule changes or delays promptly
• Document service calls and resolutions accurately using company software and applications
• Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, including nights and weekends
• Maintain a clean, safe work area, company vehicle, and assigned equipment
• Build positive working relationships with customers, teammates, and leadership
• Participate in company- and vendor-provided training

What We're Looking For:

• Three to five years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience preferred
• Universal EPA Section 608 certification
• HVAC certification from an accredited technical or trade program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the larger team
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Commitment to safe, accurate, high-quality work
